Reflection.
This painting was inspired by a lake in Dorset, which was the backdrop to a well-being festival.
I wanted to capture the beauty and symmetry of the lake and trees, as well as the uplifting atmosphere of the festival.
I applied analytical cubist principles and created a ‘frame within a frame’ to create depth and pull the viewer in.
